I'm finally in business

Yay ....... my frames have finally arrived!!! My business is now officially born! The frames are as beautiful as I had imagined, now all that is left to do is fill them with my paper art, complete my etsy store set-up and yes, I'm in business.

My art has been described as a form of pop art. Each image is hand cut from vintage storybooks and is suitable for display in any room of your home. My retro inspired storyboards are displayed alongside vintage furniture in the main living rooms of my house, while I have a butterfly image in one of my daughter's bedrooms. I have included a sneak peek of one of the images that will be going up for sale in my store soon, so watch this space!

I will leave you with a quote by Richard Branson that sums up how I feel about my little paper design business. Thank you for taking the time to read my first every post. I would appreciate your comments.

"A business has to be involving, it has to be fun, and it has to exercise your creative instinct" Richard Branson

  3. Gorgeous blog Michelle! Congratulations. Your art works are intricate and beautiful - I particularly love the idea that these vintage illustrations are being brought back to life; they now have a second chance to leave a new and lasting impression! I'm sure your work will sell. I totally get your dream for storage solutions too! Surely there are some willing farmers out there??? Looking forward to your next blog...
