Store Now Open

Just a quick one to let everyone know that my etsy store is now open. I have added a few designs and will be adding more over the coming days and weeks. A big thank you to the divine Miss M, without her help and guidance my little business and blog would still be a but a tiny thought!

Dreaming of Storage Solutions....

Sitting in the middle of my office surrounded by frames, art, paper and books etc. I find myself dreaming of a quick and easy storage solution. I came across this quirky (and economical) solution using crates at livingetc, who would have thought they could look so gorgeous? Now all I need to find is a friendly farmer.....
Speaking of my office, I am in the process of setting up my etsy store for my little paper business. Thank you all for your patience, I had no idea taking interesting pictures could take sooo long. Please check back soon, if 'life' doesn't get in the way I will be open for business shortly.

I'm finally in business

Yay ....... my frames have finally arrived!!! My business is now officially born! The frames are as beautiful as I had imagined, now all that is left to do is fill them with my paper art, complete my etsy store set-up and yes, I'm in business.

My art has been described as a form of pop art. Each image is hand cut from vintage storybooks and is suitable for display in any room of your home. My retro inspired storyboards are displayed alongside vintage furniture in the main living rooms of my house, while I have a butterfly image in one of my daughter's bedrooms. I have included a sneak peek of one of the images that will be going up for sale in my store soon, so watch this space!

I will leave you with a quote by Richard Branson that sums up how I feel about my little paper design business. Thank you for taking the time to read my first every post. I would appreciate your comments.

"A business has to be involving, it has to be fun, and it has to exercise your creative instinct" Richard Branson
